In early 2022, Rebel opened as a fully serviced hair salon; Rebel Hair Bar. Within months of opening, we were granted approval to certify professionals in braiding, eyebrow threading, and make up. After a successful launch of our in-person training program, we've extended this program to all Ohioans. Now, our state approved training program is conveniently available 100% online!
In addition to servicing hair clients at Rebel Hair Bar, we now assist others through our academy; Rebel Hair Academy. Our passion is to helps those seeking to increase or grow their clientele in the billion dollar hair industry while avoiding the high cost of cosmetology school prices.

Once you have purchased your course, our free workbook is then available for download. Thereafter you will receive an email of our availability to take your course. After your training you will have the necessary training and documentation needed for state board to approve your application. We will assist you in submitting your application to state board during the Zoom training.
Are training to become a licensed braider or loctician takes under 2 hours via Zoom.
Once completed, we've seen state board approve as soon as 24 hours. Typically we tell students allow up to 5 business days!
Unlike others, we are fully license and insured to offer state-approved licensing through ownership. We have established a well-working relationship with Ohio Cosmetology board and is recognized as one of Ohio's largest braid license training facility.
With your braiding license, you will be permitted to perform all braiding services. Are training cost less than $1,000.
Through cosmetology, you will gain the education needed to operate an all phases of hair, the prices range between $10,000- $26,000.
We currently do not offer scholarship nor financial aid. However we have partners that we work closely with for financing which is determined based on credit.
